2015 Annual Round Up

With so much rain and an abundance of grass, heifers and calves are fat and happy this year at Ranney Ranch. On July 9 and 10, a dedicated team of friends and family gathered to vaccinate and brand. Clouds threatened, but managed to provide perfect weather for the work, we had cover from the sun and dust when needed and a little rain for relief. Melvin directed the show; Nancy kept careful count in the notebook and thorough documentation with her camera; Joe, David, David, Ryan, Gino, Grant, Frank, Buck, Tripper, Marcus, Sarah, Montana, Nicola, and Bailey branded, herded, vaccinated, told jokes, and pitched in; and Esther served a lunch that threatened to stall the afternoon as everyone was so deliciously full afterwards.
